Hockey Heals started in Colorado as a way to help Van Stone get back on the ice after a traumatic brain injury. Over time, our friends there have grown it into something much bigger than just playing hockey. It’s now a weekly game that brings together people facing life-changing situations, both physical and mental, in a spirit of connection and support. The idea is to give everyone a chance to set aside their troubles for a while and just enjoy the game. We’ve got a strong foundation to launch this in St. Louis and are teaming up with local ice rinks to get things rolling. We’re aiming for an April start.
