If you happened to be at the Steinberg Skating Rink over the weekend, you might have spotted Rick and Riley Alire. This father-son duo makes the trip from Colorado every year for the Jonny O’s tournament, volunteering their time to spread DAWG Nation’s message of healing, community, and togetherness. This year, they were honored with the David B. Heath Hard Hat Volunteer Award.
