Papproth goes to Toronto

This deserves a big shout-out. Kevin Papproth began losing his vision later in life, but thanks to support from our friends at the Dented Puck Foundation—also part of the US Blind Hockey Team—we were able to help close the gap, and he joined them for our 2025 Jonny O’s tournament at Steinberg. Huge thanks to Josh Schneider for making the connection. Now, just a week away from his first international Blind Hockey series in Toronto, we’re wishing the whole team the best of luck and hoping they bring home a medal. Paps, we’ll be cheering you on, knowing you’ll take the ice with the grit and determination you’re known for.

Hockey Heals and the US Blind Hockey Team join forces.

It was an honor for us and our Hockey Heals group to join this team last weekend. We’re excited for next weekend’s tournament and hope to gather a group to watch a few games. Our Hockey Heals group helped with their training before the international series in Toronto. The team shared on social media, “We are SO incredibly grateful to DAWG Nation Hockey Foundation – Midwest and Hockey Heals for joining us on the ice and pushing us to play hard! And thank you to DAWG Nation for your generous donation to help us on our journey to Toronto! Our team is so thankful for your support. Until next time, St. Louis, thank you again from the bottom of our hearts!”
