Yesterday was an unforgettable day for Mason and his family. Thanks to the St. Louis Blues, the Blues Alumni Association, and the Dawg Nation Hockey Foundation–STL, Mason got to attend a game and meet some incredible people like Ryan O’Reilly, Jordan Kyrou, Vladimir Tarasenko, Jordan Binnington, and more. Binnington even gifted him a signed, game-used stick, and Avalanche goalie Pavel Francouz stopped by to show off his Stanley Cup ring! Back in August, Mason was injured off the ice at a youth hockey camp, and during a precautionary scan, doctors discovered a brain tumor. Just a week later, he underwent surgery to have it removed, and thankfully, tests showed it was noncancerous. Mason has been recovering since, and yesterday they received the exciting news that he’s been cleared to return to the ice, with a goalie camp just weeks away!
