Members of the United States Blind Hockey Team headed to St. Louis for our second annual Gateway DAWG Bowl. At DAWG Nation, we’re all about raising awareness for disabled hockey and spreading the message that “Hockey is for Everyone.” After the Neighborhood DAWGS faced off against the Dented Pucks, we were thrilled to hand them a $6,000 check. Huge thanks to everyone who came out—we can’t wait to make next year’s event even bigger and better.

Impact Life Blood Drive

We’re grateful to ImpactLife for joining us today as we hosted the first-ever blood drive for the Dawg Nation Hockey Foundation at the Centene Community Ice Center. We successfully collected 20 blood donations, including some from our very own Dawgs.

Larkin family impact

We’re proud to recognize the involvement of Eric Larkin and his family in DAWG Nation. Late last year, they went through a tough time when Eric had a seizure while driving, leading to a serious car accident. After that, they became part of our community. We met Eric and his dad, Ed, at Jonny O’s 3-on-3 Affton Bash in April 2023, where they jumped right in to help with everything from scorekeeping to lending a hand wherever needed. Eric also hit the ice with one of our DAWG teams, scoring a goal in the first game while his son Brayden and Ed were keeping score—a moment that perfectly captured the spirit of what we’re about. Eric has become a valued member of our community, and we’re excited for what’s ahead. A big thank you to all the volunteers who made our 2nd Annual Gateway DAWG Bowl such a success—your efforts mean the world to us.
