The hockey community showed up in full force last night at the East Alton Ice Arena. After the Charity Game, we were proud to present a $20k check to the Burdick family! Huge thanks to the Twin Bridges Lightning Youth Hockey Association, Southern Illinois IceHawks, Metro East First Responders, East Alton Ice Arena, volunteers, alumni, donors, and everyone who came together to make this possible. Stacey, we’re all keeping you and your family in our thoughts—you’ve got this. Also, a special mention to Eric Larkin, who hit the ice with the DAWG’S for the first time since being involved in a serious car accident late last year after a seizure while driving. As a recipient of DAWG Nation, it was incredible to see him back in the game and on the road to recovery.
